Barry Harris

Barry Harris is the founding and senior partner of Harris & Harris. He has been engaged in private practice for over 45 years. He graduated from the University of Sydney in 1962 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours, Class 1) and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1963.

Barry’s practice includes a broad range of commercial and corporate advisory work, including litigation, general dispute resolution and corporate reconstructions. As a traditional full-service general practitioner, his areas of practice also include property, wills and estates.

He has been retained over a number of decades by a range of financial institutions and big businesses, providing advice in a range of complex commercial matters. His extensive experience across multiple practice areas facilitates a level of integrated commercial advice that is rare in the age of single-stream practitioners.
